We understand how frustrating it can be to do your best to optimize your health and your weight, and still have areas of the body that seem to ignore your best efforts. CoolSculpting® may be the answer you’re looking for. We’re pleased to provide CoolSculpting® in Greensboro, NC, Burlington, Winston-Salem, High Point, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

What Is Involved in CoolSculpting®?

CoolSculpting® is an FDA-approved procedure that sculpts your body using cold to eliminate pockets of fat throughout the body. It’s a non-invasive, non-surgical method that uses no needles, leaves no scars, and requires no downtime.

How Much Does CoolSculpting® Cost in Greensboro, NC?

CoolSculpting® cost will vary, depending on the size and number of the areas to be treated, or the number of sessions required to implement the personalized treatment plan the doctor develops for you. Your specific costs will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Many cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance, so it’s best to contact your provider to find out which procedures they will or will not provide coverage for.

At The Renaissance Center for Plastic Surgery & Wellness, we try to keep our procedures affordable for all of our clients. We’re pleased to offer financing as an option through Alphaeon® or CareCredit®.

How Does CoolSculpting® Work?

CoolSculpting® is designed to reduce the accumulation of unwanted fatty tissue in specific areas of the body that are typically resistant to conventional methods. The procedure involves using two cooling panels on the CoolSculpting® device to draw up the fat layer.

The layer of fat is sandwiched between the panels and cold is applied. You may feel some intense cold for a few moments, but it dissipates fairly quickly and becomes numb. Most clients can then sit or lie down and be comfortable for the remainder of the session.

The fatty tissue is exposed to temperatures cold enough to destroy the fat cells without harming the skin or surrounding tissue. The body’s natural processes of eliminating dead cells will take over and within a few weeks, all the fat cells will have been flushed from the body.

What Are the Benefits of CoolSculpting®?

CoolSculpting® has many benefits and most clients are very happy with their results following the treatment. Some of the most common benefits seen include:

  • Permanent, natural-looking results
  • Quick, non-invasive, non-surgical treatment
  • No needles, no scars, and no downtime
  • Eliminates problem areas, especially stubborn fat such as muffin top or spare tire
  • Boosted self-confidence
  • Leaner body appearance
  • More noticeable body contours

Am I a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting®?

Chances are, if you’re a healthy adult who’s tired of unsuccessfully fighting stubborn fat and you’re at or near your target weight, you’ll be a good candidate for CoolSculpting®.

You’ll need to have enough fat on your body that the treatment can be effectively performed. Generally, if you can grab an inch of fat on your body, you have enough for CoolSculpting® to work.

You should note that CoolSculpting® is not a weight loss treatment. You should be within at least 20 to 30 pounds of your goal weight. In most cases, you’ll lose up to about 25 percent of fat in each area treated.

CoolSculpting® is not recommended if you’re pregnant or are planning to get pregnant.
