The Facelift Recovery Process

The facelift procedure can dramatically improve the appearance of your face. It’s important to remember that surgical options for facial rejuvenation require a recovery period.

After your facelift, you can expect to experience some swelling, bruising, and discomfort for a few days. You will also need to keep your head elevated to prevent blood from pooling around the area. The swelling will last for a few weeks. After about a month, a majority of the swelling should be gone and your results should start to become apparent.
